Today we went to a factory that makes the famous Tokoname teapots. We learned the whole process and we each got a pot to take home! Here's hoping they survive the plane ride!
Then we met Annie's host dad and learned how movie is made. It is a gelatinous rice product used many ways in Japan, today we made it into a sweet.
In the evening, Annie and I went back to school to watch karate practice.
It should say we learned how Mochie is made. It autocorrected to movie, we did not learn that!
