The flight from Detroit is very long! Many of the students finished just about all their homework on the plane. Has that ever happened in the history of I S S S at Bethany?It was fun To experience the flight with the students. Such questions as " are the movies free to watch?" Is that Alaska down there? ( we were at 38000 ft) and can I stop doing my homework now becAuse I am really tired, were very entertaining. The welcome was very big. the first person I recognized was Taizo who was very happy to hear about all the Skyline chili I brought him. They have an official photographer who took many pictures of everyone last evening.I don't know about everyone else, but this chaperone collapsed into a deep sleep and woke this morning to a beautiful day in Japan!
